Milestones

Paras Power & Coal Beneficiation Ltd is a Prashant Pravin Kumar Jain enterprise, established in the year 2007.
We are the coal procurement partners of BALCO Ltd. and have supplied 130,000 metric tonnes of coal during the second & third quarter of 2008 - 09. This is an impressive feat especially since this was at a time of crisis because of the stoppage of linkage rakes by SECL. We practically ran their plant for a month with our own supplies. Based on our performance, BALCO Ltd offered us their linkage coal to transport, which is nearly 25,000 metric tonnes linkage coal per month.

During the period 2009 - 2010, we supplied over 200,000 metric tonnes of coal to Ultratech Cement Ltd and Grasim Industries Ltd. In June 2010, we supplied 6 continuous rakes to UltraTech Cement Ltd and ran their plant for a month. Presently we are serving an order of 10 rakes from UltraTech cement & 10 rakes from Bhushan steel, Angul.
